Vesna Gernot is a Director with GE Healthcare Partners with over 15 years of provider experience that includes operations improvement, clinical service line strategy, strategy implementation and leadership development.
Vesna has led teams on a range of client engagements focused on outcomes-based operational, financial, and cultural initiatives. Some examples include enterprise capacity planning, surgical services growth planning and operational optimization, technology-enabled patient throughput and asset utilization, enterprise strategy activation, lean-based culture, change management program development, and leadership program curriculum and coaching. She also has experience with large healthcare associations.
Vesna’s experience while at GE Healthcare has included designing and launching new Solution capabilities, offerings, and business models across the country, as part of GE Healthcare’s outcomes strategy. Additionally, she stood up the organization’s first-ever Executive Program Management function and led that team in the delivery of multi-year, multi-million dollar outcomes focused relationships.
Vesna previously had roles within GE Healthcare focused on growth of new Solution capabilities and offerings across the Central and Western United States. Prior to GE, Vesna was a Director with Sg2 (now Vizient) focused on enterprise growth and clinical service line strategies for large integrated delivery networks and national health care systems.
Vesna earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Marquette University in Milwaukee (WI), and both a master’s degree in pharmacology and Master Business Administration in Healthcare Administration with distinction from Loyola University in Chicago (IL). Vesna is trained in GE Change Acceleration Process.
